I recently visited the Stand Comedy Club as I heard a number of great things about this little place. I must to admit I wasn't disappointing. All four acts were witty and funny and as the night progress so did the performance. Very affordable place...More

We had a great night out at The Stand. Solid bar, nice seating and lots of respect for those on stage (they close the bar during the show). Lots of laughs.

We were a mixed family party of six. It was a brilliant show - laughed so much as we all did and what more can you ask from a comedy club. The drinks were reasonably priced ( we come from near London so not sure...More

Had booked to see BBC Comedy Presents with my two friends. As we’re from Aberdeen we had never been before or really heard of it, but it’s a great place! The show was hilarious, so many talented comedians and recognised some faces from the telly!...More

First visit to this fab club.....hidden in the basement of an old building. What a line up, belly laughed all for a great cause. Will most definitely be back!

Thats a very funny stand up comedy show! The prices for the show and the drinks are so cheap.the ideal is to arrive early to take a place.

My firsts visit to The Stand was on a sold out Saturday night for The Saturday Show. I have been meaning to go for a while so was looking forward to a night of comedy. I wasn't disappointed - the compère was excellent, broke the...More

Great little venue. £10 is excellent value. Get there early for a seat, venue is small. If you don’t want to get picked on, you DEFINITELY need to get there early to ensure you can get a seat at the back. Later arrivals will have...More

That's the extracts TripAdvisor's showing me from the last three reviews. Sounds about right. The Stand is a comedy institution: it's where the likes of Kevin Bridges cut their comedy teeth, where the next generation step up on Red Raw nights and where comedy's biggest...More

Hi - we do recommend going for doors opening for our weekend shows as they are very popular. I would say to be at the venue for 7.30 on the dot. Unfortunately its impossible to guarantee a seat. Hope you have a great time.
