Great for locals and tourists. Good choice of beers, Friendly staff. Not sure if they do food but there are plenty of good places to eat nearby. Big screen TV in the comfortable bar - great for footie!

Came across the State 3 years ago-no it doesn't look much from the outside but open the door- and feel the warmth, a proper pub with staff who like customers and know their beer I've always felt welcome even though I'm ahem English!

Great bar, great location. Needs better staff. Never met a bar maid so angry to have a bar full of customers. Couldnt close up fast enough.

Lovely pub , with a real nice feel to it , prices superb , pint and a large red wine just over £7 . Fantastic choice of real beers and ale , I loved the angry orchard cider , very tasty
