Myself and husband went along to a play a pie and a pint on our day off. We arrived quite early to get in the queue and get a good seat. It's great value for money and a lovely afternoon out, always a good range of plays on and I would recommend it.

What a very good idea at Oran Mor. You hand over your ticket and receive a hot Scotch pie and the drink of your choice, I had Guinnesss, then sit at a table to eat and drink waiting for the performance which takes place on a very small stage.

I have now been to a few performances , all different , but equally enjoyable in their own way . A play a pie and a pint as a format is a most enjoyable way to spend an afternoon in Glasgow's west end . I would recommend it to visitors and locals like .

We are regulars here and have found it a most enlightening and enjoyable way to spend a lunchtime. The plays are of a wide variety showcasing the talents of both established and new writers. The format has been so successful that it is now travelling on to Edinburgh and Aberdeen. I would also highly recommend both the Christmas and summer... More

So glad we took in a Pie, Play & a Pint at Oran Mor pub in Glasgow. Suspect this will be one of the highlights of our week long visit to this fascinating city from Canada. Perhaps the experience would differ depending on the play being staged, but Fanny Cha Cha, today's offering, gave viewers a real sense of place,... More

This is such a wonderful offering. For about a tenner you can watch original plays and enjoy a wee glass of vino, as well as a rather tasty pie. 10/10

Very nice way to get to enjoy some culture while having a traditional pie with a pint or a glass of wine. The place was nice and intimate, inside an old former church. The play was just perfect for lunch time, short and simple but providing different emotions and things to ponder.

This great pub and dining venue in located in an old church precinct in Oran Mor at the
top of Byres Road and provides a nice venue to pop in for a snack and a cleansing ale after exploring this nice part of West Glasgow, about a 5 minute walk down from the University and the Museum complexes. The bar... More
