This was our first time at Oran Mor and it won't be our last. For £10 you get a play lasting around an hour, a pie or quiche and a pint, wine or soft drink. We saw Aunt Agatha Comes To Tea and it was really good. I would advise getting there early as the place fills up pretty quickly... More

We were fortunate to see the performance of Aunt Agatha comes to tea this Monday. Since the play we tried to see the previous week was sold out, we prebooked our tickets on line. It looked like it was sold out again. The play was funny (though being American, we probably missed some due to the accents) The pie was... More

This is an ideal afternoon out in Byres Road. The concept is terrific with a choice of Scotch Pie or Quiche and wine or beer included in the price. Entertainment varies so check before you go. The theatre is cosy and with the stage only being a few steps away does present a very pleasant experience.

Excellent way to spend an afternoon, play was brilliant and funny. Went with family and we all had a fun day and the pies were lovely.

Brilliant way to spend your lunch hour, although you will need more than an hour if you want to make sure you get a seat - the queues start quite a while before the play. Nice pie and excellent house wine. Plays can be hit or miss - Friends of Miss Dorian Grey ok but a bit amateurish - but... More

A great idea. In teh basement of Oran Mhor - a good quality play in the middle of the day. I have been 4 times: 3 out of the 4 plays were of extremly high quality (one was just off the mark). A choice of a number of drinks and a simple pie or quiche. If you are off from... More

I've been to a play a pie and a pint and I've also been to a panto pie and a pint and I can honestly say I've never laughed so much each time I've went. Pie isn't up to much but I've never really bothered about that as I've had such a good time at the play.

It has it all...... Play could have been slightly better, pie could have been hotter, but glass of wine can't be faulted! Seriously, this is a great way to try out the Glasgow theatre scene, without too much of a commitment. New plays are tested on the audience here, and if it's not your cup of tea it's only a... More

Whoever invented this concept is a genius. You get what it says, a pint, a pie and a play (approx running time 60 minutes). Set in the cellar of a converted church we chanced our arm on a Friday lunchtime and were not disappointed. At the bar if you don't want a pint other beverages are on offer both alcoholic... More
