Shopping nirvana, great people watching

So much going on, busy any time you visit. Fabulous stores and watching people is a must. The buskers are the best, free entertainment and lots of smiles

From the St Enoch Centre, this entire stretch is known as the main shopping street of Glasgow. There are a variety of familiar brands here, and the Lighthouse is just situated right on a street next to the street. If you love shopping, this is the place to be when you are in Glasgow.

Buchanan st Underground enables visitors to reach the west and south of the city and Queen st railway station and Buchanan st bus station are nearby. George Square is easily accessed from here as... Lots of shops to check and buy stuff, plus it's very "instragrammable" if there's such a term. Too bad they close really early (by my standards) -- 5PM!

This is the busiest Street for all your Boutiques and labels. Looking down on it all is Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as well as Buchanan Galleries, which hosts John Lewis. Princess square has independent boutiques, as well as many restaurants. I personally don't like Buchanan street, as I'm not into boutiques and labels, but the atmosphere on a busy day... More

This is just a short walking street with several standard stores. Nothing special or worth the visit. Not sure why people rated so high, my expectations were probably to high coming from a place where we have better and largest shopping centers.
