Visited this church which have driven past for years on doors open day. Like the light and airy uncluttered effect much better than a lot of dark gothic style churches. The Egyptian themed decor looked surprisingly modern. One of 'Greek' Thompsons gems. Does however look as though it could do with a lot of money spent on some of its... More

Liver Alexander Greek Thomson church in the Center of town. Easy to get to and a must for lovers of Glasgow architecture and history. It is a bit run down in places and still functions as a working church however general access an be gained on request and on open door weekends and architectural tours. Interesting and unique.

One of the finest historic buildings in Glasgow. Sunday services are held at 11:00 and 18:00. Folk are warm and welcoming. Tea and coffee also available after the service.

A few minutes walk - uphill - from Central Station and the shops of Buchanan Street, all fans of Greek Revival architecture should... More

I frequently pass this church ( in fact I was born just a little over a stone's throw away) but unfortunately have never been inside. It is a good example of Alexander "Greek" Thomson's work and is one of my favourite buildings in Glasgow.
