Shops, Loch ,picnic area,beach area, park and wood area , sea life centre , great shops incl members , playpark for young kids Sometimes. Farmers market. Too

Great location to visit if you fancy a walk and breath of fresh air, only 30 minutes drive from Glasgow. I visit the park regularly sometimes by car, sometimes by bike, and never tire of the stunning scenery. Highly recommend a visit for both locals...More

There are activities to suit people of all ages and it is disabled friendly too. It is not good weather dependant.

The Scottish country side is just full to the brim with beautiful sites. Loch Lomond is one such sight close to Glasgow. Serene views of the lake, best to visit on a clear, preferably sunny day.

Trains every 30 mins connect from Glasgow to Balloch. Journey time about 40 mins. You won't "tour around the loch on foot in a day" as the loch is 22 miles long and about 5 miles wide at the southern end. Depends how... More
