located a bit outside the city center, surrounded by other impressive buildings and a nice square, the cathedral is an imposing construction. visits to the front part are possible only after the service, on a Sunday for ex. only after 1 PM.

Why anyone would not come here and the necropolis is beyond me. The only surviving cathedral in Glasgow after the reformation .

This Cathedral and its history are very interesting! On the inside it is really beautiful and there are people inside who are happy to help and to provide information about the Cathedral! Plus there is a rather interesting large cemetery directly nearby.

We took the hop on off bus to go to see the Cathedral. Beautiful building and a wonderful place to visit. We walked up to the graveyard which was also a nice hike.

This is the only medieval cathedral in Scotland to survive largely intact. Much of the stained glass was removed in the mid-20th century, but the stonework vaulting is still magnificent.
