Set in a spacious park in the center of 19th Century Suburban Glasgow, is a country home now museum that is worthy of a visit when in Glasgow. Pollok House is grand and architecturally significant, with several lovely interior spaces that "wow", filled with an...More

The park itself is beautiful. We did not get to tour the house as there was an event happening but the gardens are beautiful. Sad that the Burrell Collection is closed (we just missed it last time!) but it's still worth checking out.

It is hard to believe that the entrance to this park is located just a stones throw away from the Motorway, as not long after you enter it, you feel like you are in the middle of the countryside. I have been visiting this park...More
