This visit was our first, though we visited when it was being built many years ago. The space and interior was magnificent - we are CRM enthusiasts anyway. Truly breathtaking! I found the guided tour with handsets rather long winded so I didn't listen to it all however, if you do not know much about the history of the building,... More

I confess to loving Mackintosh architecture and also art, so the house is all my Christmases coming together. Yes it's not perfect and if you open the wrong door you get a brick wall, but the amount of people that simply stop and stare in wonder when they walk into the first room is testimony that the creators got it... Didn't get very far in viewing things as you needed to pay to enter, and then the staff weren't very interested unless you were buying from the gift shop. We'll be avoiding it.

We visited the house and although it doesn't take long to go around, it is beautiful. It's unbelievable how something designed over 100 years ago can look so modern. The main selling point however was the cafe. We had pre-booked afternoon tea, however the poached eggs and smoked salmon looked so good that I had that as a starter -... More

We visited for a birthday treat with a lunch deal from 5pm which included an audio tour of the house. We ordered starters, mains and children's meals. The kids food arrived with the starters and it all looked and tasted great. We then waited nearly an hour for the mains (with 2 young kids this feels like a lifetime) the... More

Used a voucher for a pleasant lunch with glass of wine. Staff seemed a little confused about what the voucher offer was but once that was sorted out we had an excellent lunch in pleasant surroundings. Can highly recommend the tour of the upstairs House for an Art lover, beautiful and very informative.

This is what a 'Wegie Wummin' would call 'tap drawer'. Aye if she's being 'taken there' to dine she would look out, and make every effort to wear her bottom set of false teeth; but it's no the kind of place she would 'go to' as its a cut above her. So for economic reasons at least, it's 'good' that... More

I Love coming here for lunch or art exhibitions and music recitals. Also because this is where I chose to get married, that would take too long to tell as it was a most beautiful day for me as was the venue and staff and family and friends. But to go just for lunch is a real treat that I... More
