We went here for the first time with no expectations there are gallery's for people who are into the whole history side of things and there is the view at the top of the lighthouse which is a good place to take sometime out and enjoy the wonderful view

Been to Glasgow a number of times over the years and thought I'd seen most of what it had to offer in terms of tourist attractions so I took a ''wee wander'' down mitchell lane and walked up the stairs to what I expected to be a decent view and was pleasantly surprised as the view was beautiful and you... I didn't know this place existed until a friend living in the city brought me to it. The climb to the top was exhausting but when we got to the summit you were rewarded with an excellent view. I'd highly recommend it, especially as its free to do.

I visit Glasgow a few times a year and when I do I always check the exhibition. Almost every time it is showing something decent. It's free, it's interesting and the view from the top is really nice.

Popped in for a cuppa and slice of cake, walnut loaf was yummy. Wasn't really sure what the Lighthouse is, and still not much wiser after our visit! Fascinating views of the city from both the easy to access viewing platform, and the not so easy to access McIntosh tower. Think I would have enjoyed my visit more if someone... More

Located down a narrow alley just off Buchanan Street, this exhibition venue offers a number of galleries with regularly changing displays. The pièce de résistance has to be the great 360-degree view from the top of the tower. There are 135 spiral steps to the top but well worth the effort to see the cityscape (even on a foggy day).... Ideal place to drop in if you're in Glasgow. Centred around architecture and design, it promotes those subjects. Often has exhibitions that are interesting and it's free to look round. Go up the tower for a skyline view of Glasgow's centre. Only for the fit! Coffee in the obligatory coffee shop is excellent.

This attraction is so well worth a visit. If you are in town anyway you cannot go wrong. Unless you know about it you'd pass it by without a thought but it would be a shame to miss it. Free entry and make your way to the 3rd floor where you move to a spiral stairway which takes you to... More

The light house is a lovely way to spend some time looking at the city from above. There is a lot of steps to get up to the top and no lift, but once your up the steps its definitely worth it. A side from the lighthouse and its views, there is 5 other floors full of exhibits and are... More
