    Amazing experience
We visited on 16th August around 1030 and the museum was closed due to refurbishment. Niel from the museum very kindly opened it up just for us to have a look around in our own time. We have 3 children who were made up with the whole experience. The museum is great, its clean, well laid out and very informative. They have alot of interative things to do for children of all ages. We also got to have a look at the pitch by another member of the team. Thank you so much for the amazing experience and memories to last our family a life time. A special thank you to the 2 members of the team who made our day so special.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review - Neal and I are always pleased when people enjoy their visits to Hampden Park, and I hope that you will be able to come back again in the future to visit us!

Overall an enjoyable couple of hours
Positives - Tour guide (Alex) was friendly and knowledgeable. Got to see all the areas detailed and unlimited time in the museum afterwards. Good photo opp with Scottish cup replica and scoring a goal in the warm up area. Improvements for me- Tour was pacy in places and only 6 ppl in our group. We were booked for 11am tour and email said to be there 15 minutes early, so we were but security guard said the email “told lies” and went back to eating his family sized bag of crisps and watching TV, while we waited outside a locked cafe door to be collected. A full section in the museum of the radio clips via old phones is not working, no out of order sign and response was yeah we know it’s not working when I asked, why watch us try several phones if you know they don’t work? Overall we did enjoy it and would recommend the Hampden tour & museum, especially if you’re a football fan.
Hi Julie, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. While I am pleased that you enjoyed your tour overall, I am disappointed that you were not completely satisfied with your visit. I will have a word with our reception staff regarding this, and will also look to try and improve certain aspects of the museum as we look into modernising and repairing certain exhibits. I do hope that we will see you again in the near future.

Tired looking interior but its what happens on the pitch that counts.
A nice tour but the stadium itself is clearly quite dated. The changing rooms and general decor look very early 1990s but I guess that doesn’t matter if you are playing on the pitch (which looked immaculate). The museum has many interesting artefacts and was well presented. The guide was very knowledgable and gave lots of interesting stories of the teams and performers who have been at Hampden. For some reason there is no souvenir shop which is a missed opportunity and would have been nice to see.
Hi Pete, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! I am pleased that you enjoyed your visit, and please rest assured that we are currently liaising with our colleagues in the stadium to set up an alternative to our old shop. I hope that we will see you again in the near future!

Highly recomend for your child's party
This was my sons 10th birthday party and will definitely be 1 to remember. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our host Frank was brilliant si engaging and interactive with the kids they loved him. The price was u believable for what you get in the national stadium considering it was only 30 quid more than some other places that kids can have football parties at . All the kids were impressed and had loads of fun at each activity.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review - I am very pleased that you enjoyed your party! I'll be sure to let Frankie know that you had a great time, and I hope that we will see you again soon for a regular stadium tour.

    Birthday party success!
We attended hampden for my son’s 11th birthday party. They all had an absolute (excuse the pun!) ball. Andy and Emily were terrific hosts, so helpful, knowledgeable and polite and had just the correct tone with the kids. I have never seen ten boys so enthralled or desperate to answer questions. They especially loved having the speed of their shot recorded and getting to have a kick about. It was a day we will never forget and such a special experience for a birthday party. I would highly, highly recommend.
Thank you for booking one of our parties - it was a pleasure to take you around, and I'll be sure to let Emily know you all had a great time too! I hope we will see you all again in the future.

    Superb Football Museum
The Scottish Football Museum is situated within Hampden Park in the Mount Florida area to the south of Glasgow. I took the 75 bus from the Gorbals which was about a 10 minute ride to the stadium. I wasn’t able to get on a stadium tour but I thoroughly enjoyed the content in the fascinating museum. From the first Scotland v England match in 1872 to current day there is a vast array of memorabilia and a brilliant collection of old photographs of iconic Scottish players. I loved the reenactment of Archie Gemmill’s legendary goal versus Holland in the 1978 World Cup including sprawling Dutch defenders. Scottish European club triumphs were covered too. Celtic’s Lisbon Lions from 1967, Rangers beating Moscow Dynamo in 1972 and Aberdeen victorious against Real Madrid in 1983. Lots of trophies, old programmes, old kits and posters on display too. Admission was £8.
Thank you for taking the time to review us - I am very pleased that you enjoyed your time in the museum, and I hope that you will be able to visit us again soon for a full tour!

Really enjoyed this tour and a look round the museum which was a lot bigger than I thought it would be! Our guide was great (sorry didn’t catch his name but was at 11 on 5th May) and provided lots of useful and interesting info. Would highly recommend 😊

Bought tickets for my dad, brother and I for Dad's birthday. It was an absolutely cracking day out. The tour was brilliantly tailored to entertain the wee kiddos that were on the tour with their mums, dads, grannies and grandas, and a pair of old duffers like us. It has the perfect balance of information about Hampden with Scottish Football heritage. Ronnie was a brilliant tour guide and went the extra mile to give us more information about the Museum exhibits and features. A really rare day out that I would recommend to everyone for a passion about football - especially Scottish football.

Visited with my husband ( birthday chouce!) Thoroughly enjoyed the tour & museum. Our guide, Callum, was very personable and offered many interesting insights into what happens behind the scenes at Hampden, especially for the international games. The tour itself takes you to the area where the buses arrive, the dressing rooms ( home & away), the referees room, the tunnel & of course into the technical area of the ground itself. We both very much enjoyed the whole experience ( and Callum, if you read this, you are free to share the Flash Gordon story should you ever want to 😊 )

Great tour with Andy, amazing access to the stadium, ended pitchside. Museum is excellent so budget time to spend seeing historical trophies and kits. There’s also a nice cafe for before or after the tour.

We had a great time getting a sense of what it's like behind the scenes on big match days. Loved seeing the changing rooms, warm up areas and the museum was excellent. Highlight was walking out of the tunnel to the pitch. Must be an amazing experience for players. On a personal level would have liked to see a bit more made of Scotland's European club successes in the museum. After all there haven't been many and we need to be proud of these rare, historic achievements. Guide was great, nice balance of facts and humour. Enjoyed a lovely coffee and cake afterwards in the cafe. Staff were friendly and welcoming too.
