We visited the gardens last year and it was good to see the progress that was being made in the general upkeep of the estate. We had a snack lunch in the café which was very good, unfortunately it does not benefit from the sunshine and can be on the cool side. Plants are on sale and there is ample... More

We stayed at the cottages on Cambo House estate as part of a wedding. This included access to the gardens. We visited the gardens on Easter Sunday. It was a lovely surprise, there is a lot to walk around and the gardens are well maintained. I particularly enjoyed the sensory greenhouse. We also had a walk down to the sea... More

Decided to pop in while staying at the Fairmont in April. Weather was nice and was lovely taking a wander round the gardens. We would love to return later in the year so that we could see more of the plants flowering. Stayed for lunch and enjoyed homemade soup and rolls as well as tasty cakes in the cafe. Could... More

beautiful garden, lots of intelligent planting work has been done to create this garden, We only had an hour and it was time well spent admiring this garden. I'd like to come back next year and see what progress has been done.

Visited Cambo House and gardens to view the snowdrops as had heard they were worth a visit. I was not disappointed as the snowdrops were lovely, so many with so many different varieties. We also had coffee and scone in the tea room there which was extremely good and service friendly.

We visited end February and the carpets of snowdrops were just glorious. We felt the entrance charge was quite expensive as apart from the snowdrops there wasn't a lot else to see at this time of year.

We were a little underwhelmed by Cambo. You can't get into the house and the snowdrops were, well, just snowdrops - nowhere near as many as I had imagined (no white carpets in the woods) - and whilst I'm sure it's really interesting that there are so many varieties, after about 10 I rather lost interest.

Saw a advert for a snow drop walk and thought my children would like it. Arrived too late for the welly walk. But had a great day and i never knew there were so many types of snow drops. We walked around 3miles around the eastate and the beach my dog had a swim in the sea. The haighlight of... More
