I visited Cambo one beautiful bright winter morning during the snowdrop festival in February 2017 (I've flicked May 2017 because that was the earliest option) and walked for miles all round the grounds for several hours. I loved it!

Beautiful woodland walks and path down to the beach and coastal path. Walled garden is nice and I loved the sculptures hidden around the garden. Kids also fed the pigs and liked seeing the piglet.

We arrived 10am for scones and BIG mugs of tea in the reasonably priced Nosebag Cafe .Then we walked into the Winter garden with its bright red stems of Dogwoods and Japanese maples with a rich carpet of spectacular snowdrops everywhere . We strolled along...More

One of my favourite places to wander. The old walled garden is beyond beautiful no matter when I go. If you read The Secret Garden as a child and dreamt of being in one, here you go. It's magical.

We are members and visit Cambo throughout the year. The progression of the walled garden through the season is a useful reference point for our own large garden. Recently the stables have been opened as a visitor centre and the entry point. Now it may...More

Plenty to see and do here.children well catered for,the piglets were a high-point.Estate gardens are facinating, just a shame the cafe let the side down, messy tables, and it was'nt really busy.very pricey on top of the admission ticket, but the kids enjoyed it.

Within the fascinating, historic country house, looked after by such kind, friendly staff, served delicious, decadent afternoon tea... and finished with a stroll through picturesque woodlands down to the seashore. What a brilliant place to visit. Simply the best afternoon tea. Very highly recommended!

Lots of pleasant walks through the estate and there is also a walled garden which I imagine will be very colourful in he summer but a bit drab in Feb. There are lots of snowdrops of many varieties in the woods and it makes a...More
