Had my first look at this Country park ,plenty of parking and well signposted for finding .Quite taken with some of the artwork displayed about the walking trail . Great picnic area and kids can roam free there is also a cafe but it is shut on Thursdays .
I will have to come back for a better look in a couple of weeks time as there was a fair bit I did not see

That's the great place to go for a all-day trip. My child was really excited with a farm and with Avon Aqueduct, what's near to the farm. There are also a lot of beautiful views from the top of the aqueduct and in the woodland and fields. Playpark in the area it's also good option for kids and even teens. I'm sure, we will back to this place in future.

Another peaceful location and a great place to walk the dog.

The cafe has closed but there was a catering van in the car park with drinks and ice creams.

Worth visiting and there are geocaches if that interests you.

We are so lucky in Scotland to have as many amazing walks as we do, and this is certainly one of them.

It is set roughly between Linlithgow, Whitecross and Maddiston, but once you have successfully found it, it's definitely worth making your way around as much of it as you can.

There's the Avon Gorge, the Avon Aqueduct, a children's play park area, a lovely little animal farm and of course, plenty of lovely woodland to enjoy. If you are hungry, there are a few cafes nearby, as well as the Union Canal walk, too.

It will take you a while to cover the entire country park, as it is huge, but it is definitely worth visiting here and wandering around for a few hours. I love it, it's one of my favorite walks in the Central Belt.

The farm is well maintained and there's a good mixture of animals and birds to see. The picnic areas and children's park is great, making it a worthwhile half day out. On site toilets and baby change plus plenty of car parking. Great visit.

I have been visiting Muiravonside Country Park for years - at least since 2002 - taking the grand-children to visit the excellently run far and to the play area. But really the best thing is just to get them out into the open air and running around. It has improved out of all recognition during these years and the farm is spotless with excellent informatioin boards, there are walkways around the fields so that you can get closer to the animals, there is an orchard area and allottment so that they can learn where their food comes from. The cafe is well run and the food we had yesterday was absolutely fresh and home-made - and cheap! Couldln't have been more impressed. It's understandable that they can't keep the cafe open for long hours - it's a country park after all and visitor numbers could be greater. The thing is that the park is free of charge and it's a very valuable asset in the area.

Found this little gem at the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well maintained animal areas with a nice little choice of animals (our 6yr old daughter loved them all), lovely walks to be had as well as a decent play area for children, and a nice little cafe with some well priced food and snacks. Overall a great little place for all ages.

We arrived at the cafe at 2:20pm after a lovely walk around the park only to be told, we don’t do food this late in the day 😳 grabbed a brew and watched the shutters being locked at 2:30pm as we were still drinking our coffee.
Bring your own sandwiches...... #hungryroamers 😢😢
