Great little experience for our 1 year old daughter. Party games, snacks, SANTA!!! and a lovely gift all while the boat bobbed along Union Canal. Lovely, friendly staff who were great with the kids. We'll definitely book up for 2019!
We really enjoyed our experience on board the re-union canal boat, floating lazily down the canal while tucking in to some delicious treats and drinking one cup of tea after the next. Our hostess was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The...More

Had a great day on the Jaggy Thistle. The boys at Re-Union showed us over the boat and how everything worked. We then cruised the short distance to the Falkirk Wheel. Had time for a coffee and shopping at the Falkirk Wheel visitor centre, and...More

Many of Edinburgh’s student hangouts gather around university buildings in Southside, the sort of neighbourhood that supports a long string of second-hand shops and eateries serving ethnic food for just a few pounds. In August the student population is replaced by vast numbers of boisterous visitors here for the Fringe, Edinburgh’s world-class comedy and arts festival which headquarters itself here. Flanking
Southside are two great parks. The Meadows is a vast flat and sporty space where football, rugby, tennis, cricket, croquet, and golf often all take place side by side. Kids in its big playgrounds add to the joyful noise. Far bigger and much wilder, Holyrood Park extends to the east and provides a real hike up Arthur’s Seat, but the district is best known as the site of Scotland’s Parliament and its premier Royal Palace—and their steady stream of sightseers.

Hi there, I'm afraid it is difficult to answer your question succinctly. We have one boat, The Jaggy Thistle based in Falkirk which can be hired for the day and is self drive allowing you the opportunity to steer the boat for yourself and ride on the Falkirk Wheel. We also have a boat in Edinburgh which, whilst it can be hired for private events, we often run ticketed events such as Afternoon Tea etc. This would give you the opportunity to spend a couple of hours cruising the canal from the centre of Edinburgh. Our Afternoon Tea events are usually scheduled for the last Sunday in each month. These are punctuated from time to time with History Cruises, Festival Cruises, Teddy Bears Picnics etc. Tickets for these must be purchased in advance and all of our upcoming trips are listed on our website. If you happen to be in Edinburgh when one of our trips is scheduled you could purchase some tickets in advance and take a cruise. I hope this helps.
