What a fantastic bunch of musicians playing captain beef heart and original material. Best gig I’ve seen for years. If you like rock ,jazz this is for you. Orange claw hammer.

I’m not averse to a dive bar; in fact I’ve visited many over the years, but this place really is a “dive” and not in a good way. In fact it’s less dive and more “pits”. We went to see a band when visiting for...More

I was visitng my Parents, who live in Edinburgh and we popped into Henry's for a bite of lunch, just after the main lunch crowd had departed. Great place with great food and good service. Will definitely go back for the tapas style of service.

Just superb! What live music should be like. Really engaging bar staff. Lovely feel to the place. I would like to see Trip Advisor remove the toxic review from the ex. employee who lives upstairs! John

Such a wonderful reception. Great live music, atmosphere, entertaining staff. A real asset to the Edinburgh live music scene. It's places like this that make cities a great place to visit and live. This is the kind of place to treasure. Rough around the edges,...More

Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in

citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind
grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel
crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and
sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along
