We absolutely love the cinema. The seating is so comfortable being of double leather sofa and foot stools. The cinema is fully licensed and has a host of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available. It also sells great food and snacks. Staff all wear nice uniforms and are all very friendly.

Been here a couple of times but last night we got tickets for the first class screen and it was amazing! I thought it was reasonable priced £25 for 2 on a comfy reclining sofa - Pringles and chocolates included. Once seated you are given a menu with a good selection of snacks and drinks and you are served from... More

My husband and I went to the Dominion for the first time on Monday and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They don't have many movies on at a time but the standard of seating, and the attention of staff made it memorable. It is an Art Deco theatre with reclining leather sofas in first class, and large leather seats at... More

The Dominion is a fabulous Art Deco building and is well run It has great customer service , comfortable seats and nice surroundings. In 2017 they are introducing a new first class screen giving luxury seating and full table service. They have also designed a new entrance, which is exclusive to first class customers and created a bar inside the... More

From the second we walked in the door we fell in love with the Dominion Cinema. It's very cute. I couldn't fault the staff. The table service was great, the food was lovely. The recliner sofas were very comfortable. Just as well the film was amazing too! 2 free small tubs of Pringles and 4 Celebrations chocolates were waiting for... More

My partner suggested an evening out starting with a visit to a cinema. When we checked our options I was immediately hooked with the review for the Dominion. So much so we were both overcome with the cinema that we were less concerned over what was showing. We could not wait for something we could choose to watch, it became... More

There is no place like the Dominion Cinema, it is just the best experience from start to finish from the staff who work there to the pure luxury of the Cinema and the ridiculously comfortable leather sofas. You'll never go to any other Cinema after visiting the Dominion.

The Dominion is an independent, family-run cinema in Edinburgh's Morningside area. We've been regulars for quite some time now; we love it! I have a bad back and I can't usually sit in "regular" cinema seats for the full duration of a movie without getting very sore and having to take a lot of painkillers to get me through the... More

My boyfriend has a passion for old style cinemas therefore we went to check it out. We went for the golden package which is the comfy two seater reclining sofas. Lovely little place with a great feeling certainly keeps to the olden age and was lots of fun. Staff where very attentive and friendly. We didn't get to experience the... More

Always like this cinema as it's comfortable and we usually go as a treat for a film we really want to see as we don't always go to the cinema that often. Went to see trainspotting and went VIP. Everything was great except the film time stated 7pm and came on at 8.05 a would have been good to know... More

Good evening, Thank you very much for your feedback. All the information regarding Bond's Bar is displayed online when booking tickets and at the Box Office on arrival. We have a 45 minute bar and food service for our patrons to enjoy prior to the film beginning at 8pm. Apologies for the misunderstanding, we hope that we can welcome you... More
