Cramond Village is quite nice but the main attraction is the island where you can walk to when the tide is low. Beautiful place with footpaths and a beautiful view on the three bridges of Queensferry. Nice place for a picnic.

We were pleasantly surprised to arrive to free parking, although the car park filled up very quickly. The beach was a short walk from the car park, down some stairs and there were clean toilets close by. There was also an ice cream van and...More

No matter the weather it's always a pleasure to walk long the shore at Cramond. Fabulous views & a nice seaside spot for catching a bit of fresh air & peace. Lovely to see the small boats in the harbour.

I used to visit as a child and returned with my son. Great adventure across the sands to the derelict island. We even happened upon an octopus! Make sure you check the tide times for low tide as this is vital for your visit.

Lovely location and lovely village. But be prepared for noise. It's directly in the flight path for Edinburgh Airport and the planes can be intrusive.

Sharon, it's perfect for dogs! Lots of folks were there with their dogs on the beach and playing. I got some great pics of the pups.
