    Beautiful gardens
Beautiful gardens and such a peaceful place to pass some quality time with family and friends. Reasonably sized. Is free for children and £5 for adults [free for University staff and students] was quiet when went despite being a very nice day and no one at entrance. Very well kept gardens and maybe a bit of an underappreciated space in Dundee. The full greenhouse was not open but again a nice little space to pass time and appreciate nature and varied plants.

    Amazing Gardens!
Such a beautiful place. Very tranquil and very helpful staff that will talk to you about any aspect you want to know about the garden. A beautiful place to walk around. You can return at different times of the year and see the garden in its glory.

    Larger site than I expected
Our son has just started his 3rd year at Dundee Uni and this was our first visit - I was suprised at how large the site was. Would definitely come back again to see it in another season. Really enjoyable day out.

    Lovely site
Lovely site in Dundee. Worth a visit. Lovely area to visit. Lots of interesting colours along with great viees and a nice cafe. Only a small donation required rather than a charge which is even better.

The gardens are wonderful. But the cafe was very disappointing indeed. Staff were great but very limited vegan options. Don't be fooled by the salad sandwich - it was a bit of lettuce and cucumber between two bits of bread! Surely Willows Catering and the university can do better than this in 2024.

Surprisingly really enjoyed the day here ☀️ we arrived on a sunny Thursday and before I came here, I thought that I wouldn’t really enjoy it but actually it was such a nice walk with lots of different things to see - cool trees, plants, flowers and statues. Even the view looking onto the Tay was amazing and we loved walking around looking at everything. There was also cool little paths to go down and a memory garden. Lots of picnic tables and seats along the way. Staff were really nice and informative and you even get a map which helped us more than we thought! We went into the greenhouses at the end which was cool, very hot but cool to see and also we liked the little vegetable patches too. The cafe sold drinks and ice cream which was nice, a wee bit expensive but nice. Overall, a really great day here and deffo will be back 🌻🌵🌹🪴

Not the biggest of Scotland's Botanic gardens but very beautiful and interesting. There have been some lovely interventions, art work etc in the gardens. Nice wee cafe too.

The Botanic Gardens are absolutely wonderful, even in late winter. The Scottish Native plants area especially is just magic - so clever to have packed so much into a small area.
The cafe, sadly, is not so great. The staff was almost hostile and all but told me they were too busy to serve me, (even though there were tables available) so I went elsewhere.
