Was up in this area today with my daughter and she dropped me off so that I could have a wander around while she did her own thing. The first thing that struck me was how impeccably kept the gardens are. There were 'Friends of the Barnhill Rock Garden' tidying up even whilst I was there. The gardens do not... More

This is a beautiful part of Dundee that not many know about other than locals. This is the only reason really to venture along to this part of brought Ferry and it really is worth it. I especially like to come down here early on a weekend morning when it is nice weather and just take in the surroundings and... More

A beautiful and extensive garden area meticulously maintained by volunteer gardeners provides a haven for wildlife and a lovely area in which to relax and enjoy viewing the Tay estuary.

Lovely to wonder around for all ages, lots of seating places for the ones with advance time in their bones. Mum loved this place we always went there if the weather was good and have a ice cream and watch the flowers, birds and bees going around. The pace to have a break from the hustle and bustle of life... More

The Barnhill Rock Gardens are very well maintained by volunteers. I usually pass them at least once a week throughout the year as I stay nearby. There are several benches dotted around the gardens, a lovely place to relax, weather permitting.

A peaceful oasis, out of the wind with fresh plants to try and identify. Sea views, room for the kids to run and play. This is how public park should be, they even provide seats and picnic benches. My local council should take lessons.
