We recently visited here for a pirate fun day at Easter. We had two young children. There was activities on with the staff dressed up and free face painting. Entry for kids was free. We used a groupon voucher for free entry for adults. We spent around 2 hours here and would recommend it for families to visit.

We decided to visit on a trip to Dundee as it was walking distance from our hotel. The history is great & not expensive to get inside and walk around. Not rushed and can wander about by yourself. Would recommend for anyone in the Dundee area looking for something a bit different to do.

Popped in with a £6.50 Groupon voucher for family entry to avoid the rain! Parking at the door is £2.50 Pay and Display for up to 2 hours. Friendly helpful staff member on the desk and four levels of exhibits. Very steep stairs that are more like ladders so might be difficult for some visitors, but no worse than most... More

A curious looking ship that doubles as a museum, this is a fun place to explore and take in some history. Bonus points to the guy at the front desk, before we'd even started looking around, he told us soooo many interesting facts and stories about the ship off the top of his head which was a really lovely and... This was a decent choice to visit - a battleship that has never seen battle and as a result pretty well preserved, although the outside of the boat looks a bit motheaten in places. You probably don't need more than an hour but we had fun and didn't begrudge the entrance fee ( about £9 as I recall but to... More

Unicorn is the symbol of Scotland because why not. You can recognise one unicorn sculpture in the city centre and of course on the ship. On Sunday evening the ship was closed, but still worth to walk around and see grand bridge.

The ship itself is really cool. There are a few unicorn sculptures you can take a photo with, as well as historic exhibits (e.g., large cannons). The young man at the desk was especially helpful and shared his expert knowledge of the ship and Dundee in general

This visit was way too short but got a good feel for life onboard an old Firgate. Lots to see in a very relaxed atmosphere

A shame that the masts and rigging have been removed but stilll gives an interesting insight to life above and below decks on an old Bristich fighting ship.
