Downhill Fun!

Came here as part of a stag do and, despite not being the most fit group, we had an absolute blast. The trails were really good fun and accessible. Hard to recommend it more.

Our third visit to Glentress, it never disappoints, there are trails for everyone here, and being fantastically designed, the faster you go, the more adrenaline you get, we have discussed going to other bike parks, but simply can't ' not go ' back to Glentress. Thoroughly recommend to any level of rider!!

This area is better known for it's mountain biking routes but we walked a 2 hour route with moderate difficulty. (Hiking boots recommended). Starting at the top of Buzzards Nest car park the walk started peaceful and serene, ascending to stunning views across towards Peebles. I'd love to go back and try the biking next time.

Parked up in the first car park and started out on the red hiking route thinking to do the black route when we got there. 20 minutes later and a 100 meters higher plans were being rethought. Settled on taking the blue route and back down for coffee and cake.

Visited with 2 teenage boys. It's an excellent MTB centre. Recommend parking at Buzzards Nest car park. Blue trail is excellent with manageable trails with an emphasis on flow as each bend links seemlessly to the next. Trails very well maintained. Everybody friendly and helpful. Better than coed y Brenin? Yes! Better than grizedale? Yes.

We hired bikes for the day and set off to find the green trail. Follow the arrows not the rings, which are walking routes. The green run was brilliant fun, to get use to the bikes. Not too challenging for our 8 and 11 year olds. Then onto the blue run. Quite a trek up the hill, but worth it... More

I mostly mountain bike in the Lakes. This is a great trail centre and was recommended as the best in the country. The blue route is great and well worth a go - or three. The red is more technical and a thick layer of snow added to the challenge. Good café and good value
