What a beautiful park. Autumnal at time of visit. Trees, and gardens absolutely stunnig. Visit the museum. Bikes and trophies belonging to local lad Steve Hislop. Spent nearly 2 hours just wandering around museum. A real gem in the beautiful Scottish Borders.

Lovely open park well maintained but with plenty natural splendour and currently being updated with a café and adventure play area in the near future an impressive public garden and museum are also available to visit and many sports pitches,a lovely walk with your pets or family.

Grand bandstand, sports to watch, Boer War memorial, nicely kept up, beside the River Teviot and adjoining the Museum - what's not to like?

A lovely walk along the river through the manicured lawns and colourful flowerbeds, There is a lovely little stream that tumbles through the garden, and there are figures and Plaques remembering their famous sons Bill McLaren, Steve Hislop and Jimmie Guthrie.
