Not really worth the money, granted we were there out of season but there's not a lot to see, many tanks were empty, the whole place looks a bit shabby and tired. We were there with a toddler and bought tickets online at a discounted rate but still not worth what we paid. The cafe was closed there were no... More

Before you enter the building there are some nice woodland walks and somewhere for children to play but then be amazed as you wander around the aquariums with some strange and beautiful fish and sea creatures. The seals and otters are so appealing and the staff do a fantastic job with the care and preservation of these creatures.A really nice experience... Lots of interesting things to see, the touch pool experience and involving the kids in feeding the seals really got their interest. A good family day out.

As the title says it was a good couple of hours out. The ticket was valid for a week which was great and meant we could of gone back. The seal feeding was great to watch, such clever animals doing tricks for fish and obviously looked after well. Also very funny watching the seagulls sneakily nick the fish from the... More

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to review The Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary. It's great that you enjoyed your visit and watching our seal feeding demonstration. Apologies you felt the centre was not very big. As you have noted part of the charm of the Sanctuary is the outdoor woodland walks and nature trail available but we understand that... More

Recently visited with family. We had decided to visit as we had been given vouchers which gave us entry for just £6 per person! Thought this was great with it being close to Christmas. I went to use the vouchers however there was confusion as the lady had not seen these vouchers nor were they on the till. The lady... More

We booked our tickets online, well worth doing as it saves quite a few £'s. We got there as it opened and had a look round before the talks started. The place is quite small, but there are places for children to play. The lady who told us about the otter and the seals was amazing she certainly knew her... More

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to review our Sanctuary, it's great that you enjoyed your visits and the talks about our otter and seals. Our seals are housed across to interconnecting pools, which they are free to move between at all times. Please rest assured we would never keep any creature in an enclosure that was too small for... We visited the sea life sanctuary in Oban this morning. We booked online in the morning and had an amazing trip. The staff were very attentive and extremely good with sharing information. We loved watching the seals being fed, despite the seagulls trying their best to steal the fish. The interactive pool was amazing where we got to hold starfish,... More

We visited in October on a lovely day. Saw the otter being fed and saw the seals perform. The animals have a fabulous relationships with their keepers and look happy. The Keepers are very enthusiastic about the animals in their care and give good educational talks. Excellent work being done here.

My family- adults and 2 small children- spent a fun day at the Sea life sanctuary, despite the cold weather! The highlight for the kids was the hands- on time with a crab, a sea urchin and a starfish. Holding them was exciting, and earned them a medal too! The guide at the sanctuary was very knowledgeable and told us... More
