My man and I walked by this cathedral and dropped in and were not expecting to see so many other people visiting this beautiful church. It's old but is being taken of by its parishioners. The community supports a variety of charities and provides for...More

Dates to 1864 and added to many times. Because of its evolution it is a hodgepodge. Not pretty. Looks run down. Only church I've seen with girders incorporated with columns. This is likely a great resource for the people of Oban but versus other cathedrals...More

We visit this little Cathedral each time we are on holiday in the area. We try to go when there is a coffee morning - friendly folk and nice cakes. It hardly seems the size of Cathedral as many would think of Cathedrals, however it...More

Interesting cathedral. Has exposed internal steel beams holding up the sanctuary. Seems somewhat out of style with the rest of the church. However, the sanctuary is quite pretty and worth a quick visit.

There's such a feeling of community and love in this building and the story behind it, though sad is worth hearing. The stained glass is exceptional and we loved it

This is one of the most interesting cathedrals we have visited. As it has never been finished, and started and stopped several times, you can see several different styles including metal work. We loved it and glad we had popped in.

The church was a hodgepodge of different eras going back to the early middle ages. It has a nice musty smell that tells you it is very, very old. It was beautiful, well kept. We went to services and the people were very friendly but...More

Cathedral makes an easy destination for a short walk around the harbour at Oban. Gives some nice views. Worth it for that reason alone - the cathedral wasn't open anyway.
