Looked in and found myself the only visitor today (Rabbie Burns Day) ... in fact, apart from me and the fine and cheery, chatty lad behind the desk, the place was all but deserted. However, the order of the day was another interesting wee exhibition,...More

Really poor show this Xmas. I usually have several pieces to pick from and I buy on a regular basis. This time it just lacked variety and was a shadow of previous years. Lot less artists submitting. Hopefully the summer exhibition will pull it back.

Really well laid out museum. Not too sure about the art instillation but standing stone, bridal exhibits and shops were great

Visited to see the new temporary exhibition. Amazing body of work. Very thought provoking and interesting. Rest of displays are very good although they are looking a bit dated and tired. Staff excellent and very friendly

It's a local wee museum- but well worth a visit - local culture. And historic artefacts - ever changing displays - a delightful museum and very friendly, helpful staff So if you have time .... get along to this place
