The scenery is fantastic. We were lucky with the weather so it was not difficult to climb up the hill. It is definitely worth the effort though. The Glen Clova hotel is fabulous and so is its restaurant's menu!

Beautiful scenery. Heck of a trek up the hill to get to the Loch but well worth it. We camped there for 2 nights but the weather wasn't right, high winds and lashing rain. Went back down to the Glen Clova hotel-fantastic place!

There's an easy footpath up to the loch from the Glen Clova hotel carpark but if you want you can extend around the corrie behind the loch. It's not quite a Munro but in the snow it can be more challenging. 30th April 2016 and...More

This is a must do if you are in Glen Clova. It is steep, climbing 410m in approx one hour, but the path is excellent and unchallenging, other than being steadily uphill all the way. When you get there you can easily access the Loch...More
