Fantastic walk but difficult steep walk. We had heavy snow fall which made it doubly difficult. Unfortunately the mist and haze meant we didn't have the best views but it cleared a little just as we got to the loch which was beautiful.
The scenery is fantastic. We were lucky with the weather so it was not difficult to climb up the hill. It is definitely worth the effort though. The Glen Clova hotel is fabulous and so is its restaurant's menu!

Beautiful scenery. Heck of a trek up the hill to get to the Loch but well worth it. We camped there for 2 nights but the weather wasn't right, high winds and lashing rain. Went back down to the Glen Clova hotel-fantastic place!
