Fraserburgh is not on any guide I know about but it’s well worth the trip. The Heritage Center and Lighthouse are wonderful finds. You’ll spend 4 hours and wish you had more time.

Traveled to Fraserburgh as paternal grandfather immigrated to Canada in 1910. Was very pleasantly surprised at the excellent museum (well designed and interactive for children) and the wealth of information about the city, its history and famous people from Fraserburgh - ie. Madama Butterfly, the...More

A good descriptive history of the town. The hand held audio device gave useful information and was easy to use. We didn't have a lot of time there, so couldn't read everything, making the short audio descriptions particularly helpful. Lots of 'hands on' and a...More

Very nice staff and a wide range of recent history on display. We loved the beach train with the cine footage of it in use in the 60s.
