Closed to the public for the foreseeable future whilst the city council creates its latest planning disaster all around. What is it with Aberdeen? St Nicholas House was a disaster. Now being replaced by something which will soon be as bad. Or worse. Pity no...More

Thanks for your review. Provost Skene's House is temporarily closed for essential building works and the installation of a new exhibition. It will reopen to visitors in the summer of 2017.

This is an exilant place a lovely tea room at the ground floor and always intresting exibits when its open. shame it will probly be another few years before you can visit again.

The Provost House continues to be boarded up as it is amidst a huge building project in the area. At the moment, it resembles an abandoned building.

I came to have a look around on sunday morning. has I got to the building sad to say it or closed up there all broaded up no one can get in. I think its closed for good.

Hi there, unfortunately it's not open yet but Aberdeen City Council are planning to re-open the house in July 2017.
