This tourist/historical place was well worth the few pounds it cost to enter and enjoy. Johnathon led our tour by him role-playing numerous past jailors and he was very entertaining. Honestly, he was excellent. Very amusing while providing us with the historical facts of the...More

There are only a couple of rooms but the building itself is interesting and they make good use of the limited space. The current exhibition about 'Coming of Age' is though provoking and has a wide variety of objects on display. It is free to...More

Although small, this never seems to hinder the learning experiences gained from the exhibitions in this museum. We have come to the temporary exhibitions here and always enjoyed them. The current “Growing Up Different Journeys” not only has activities for children but challenges your thoughts...More

Just walked 2 miles to see The Art and Science of Light exhibition to find two small rooms containing an almost random set of objects very loosely connected to the title. Thought it was the entrance lobby only to find that was it! Not worth...More

Situated in the Old Town House, the Kings museum has two small downstairs rooms displaying artefacts discovered locally in Aberdeenshire. Worth a look if you're passing, but only make a special journey if you're seriously interested in local history. However there is a changing exhibition,...More

Stumbled into Old Town House by accident but pleased we did. The Guide gave us all his attention and a graphic account of what went on in the area in years past.

As an Aberdonian, though long away from the city, it shames me to admit I've never been into this building before. In fact, I don't even remember seeing this building before! We had a lovely time here though, seeing an exhibition of Eric Auld's paintings...More
