This was originally Aberdeen’s second university which then merged with Aberdeen uni who then moved everything not long ago to their current campus. The building is now used by the council. You can walk in to the courtyard and it is stunning to walk around...More
It is a huge Victorian Gothic building which dominates the East end of Union Street, and is hard to miss. There is a statue of Robert the Bruce outside which excites some tourists. The building is now used as council offices and it is worth...More
Magnificent granite building, a gorgeous example of Victorian Gothic Revival Architecture. This is the second largest granite building in the world! Aberdeen is know for its granite and that's best enjoyed on a sunny day.
Marischal College is a fine example of architecture and grandeur. Have a wander in the courtyard and enjoy the shimmering of the granite.
Not to be visited on a dreich day!
