Footdee (Fittie) is right beside the sea, it has a character all off its own. The place retains it historic image and is within easy reach of the city centre of Aberdeen. I think what I like most about it is that is close to...More

When in Aberdeen we often take a trip down here, sandwiched between the working fish harbour/offshore supply ships and the end of the north pier. It is a quaint part of old Aberdeen with streets of traditional fishermen's houses surrounding old drying greens. A limited...More

Cute little houses and structures that are well kept. It is a bit of a walk from town but on a nice day you will walk past the harbor and its like an oasis. It is a quick visit.

A near hidden gem away from the beach coffee shops. Well worth the visit. These homes used to be fishermen's homes real working class area at one time now bought up by professional people. A trip through time walking around these buildings wow.

Yes you can walk it in twenty minutes or so, but goes past the docks so is not very pleasant for a stroll! Best bet is to drive and park at the sea front for free.
