I really enjoy visiting churches and in so many of them you find really ancient or stunningly beautiful things to marvel at. That is not the case here, which is perhaps not that surprising as it is a relatively modern church, constructed circa 1860.

St Mary of the Assumption is to us, who are used to more colourful and highly decorated baroque style churches, quite a simple though elegant building. Its very simplicity, provides the right atmosphere conducive to a more intimate relationship with the Lord.
