We were recommended this tour as we had a large group of people to accommodate, some with small children and two in wheelchairs and what an excellent choice as there were no steps or cobbles to contend with. The staff were very friendly and more than helpful getting everyone organised. Many of the group had never been in the city... More

I was on an organised group break to Londonderry & this attraction was one of the organised events. Our tour guide was very knowledgable & entertaining, very informative about the history of the town. I would recommend this attraction as we got an overall sight of the town & then we walked around the town afterwards having some knowledge of... More

What a fantastic way to see all the sights of Londonderry, the last time I was in Derry was 1991 and it felt very strange to be taken around the Bogside in a brightly colored Noddy train looking at all the familiar sights and murals. Well worth a try.

It was my first visit to Ireland and this little tour was great. Very informative and our tour guide seemed knowledgable about the city. Great way to see the city.

Caught the train at the tourist center after finding out that the hop on hop off bus no longer operated. Price was 5 pounds each for a 30 minute tour. Train went around the the old town and outside the walls in Bogside. Nice that it was fully covered and enclosed as our day was rain on again/off again. Narration... More

Wanted to go on the open top bus but as it was raining it was replaced by a mini bus, this is when i saw the tourist train sitting. The tour was excellent, it was good as there were not much people on it, the guide made the experience good, it was personal and got a lot of chances to... More

We took the road train today (just £5 each) from the Derry Tourist office and enjoyed a fantastic tour of the city including the Bogside. The guide was friendly and informative. I'd strongly recommend the trip to anyone visiting Derry.

I really think the 'guide' should be replaced by a leaflet preferably available in other languages and containing accurate information. My husband was becoming increasingly cross with the quality of the commentary and compared it very unfavourably with the informative tour of the City Walls. By the time we were informed that the German submarines had been surrendered after 'D... More

We saw this vehicle going around so we decided to have a go having already walked the walls. It proved to be most interesting with our guide, Leonard, making it so. His descriptions of the seige of Derry, the American "invasion" in WWll and the more recent "Troubles" brought it all to life. An excellent well spent half hour.

My partner, sister & I hopped on board this unique tour of Derry on a Sunday morning. This was a good time to see the sights as the shops etc were not open until 1pm & there were not too many crowds out yet. Leonard our guide was very knowledgeable & the tour was an ideal way to get some... More
