There’s a lot of public access to this beautiful building which is a key to the history of Derry/Londonderry. Exhibition inside on the plantations too.

The Guildhall in Derry is beautiful and has a balanced, complete, history of the "plantation" (introduction of British loyalist) process. Make sure to drop in for tea and go upstairs to see the amazing organ.

A beautiful building steeped in history. We went round the plantation exhibition and left with a deeper understanding of how and why local landowners property was taken and how the divisions within N Ireland took root.

I think as I can remember there is a throne on the 2nd floor where you can sit and there is a cape/robe you can put on. Possibly? Ask the lady at reception desk.
