Wandered around Derry for a lot of afternoon. This was good to see and easy to stand there and read the information - with traffic whizzing away around outside.

At a busy junction - the remnants on the terraced houses. Popular photo stop and appears to be starting point for many community activities.

Not a huge fan of murals but we see this one quite often as we drive in that area, it is part of the history of this great city so it is worth going to see

My son has just completed some course work on the Troubles in Northern Ireland. As we walked up Rossville Street and the Free Derry Corner he was able to explain a good overview of the events on Bloody Sunday and from the spot where it all began. An Excellent memorial of times past.

It's worth the visit if you're walking the walled the city. They're located close to each other and gives you an interesting perspective. I would do a walking tour of some sort to get a better understanding of that corner, the history, and the British garrisons situated facing the bogside

It's literally a nice view. Some may debate the view politically, but even as an outsider looking in, it's still interesting history with a nice view to match. You'll see some neat posters from time to time.

I am a huge fan of History and this is a must see. I would recommend that one read up on Ireland's recent history to put relevance to this area of Derry. Many murals and the Bloody Sunday memorial are in this area.
