A clean, quiet site, in a lovely area

I recently pitched a tent at the Kilbroney Park site for three nights and for my purposes it was ideal, as I was using it as a base to hike amongst the Mournes. The site was... read more

Camped in Kilbroney for 3 nights. This was our 2nd camp visit here and did not dissapoint. Its a well maintained camp site with very good facilities with securuty at night. It was quiet in the evenings which suits us with 2 young children. The new Narnia walking trail is a welcome addition to the park. Our children really enjoyed... More

Headed down with my 1 year old son and 9 year old neice for a bit of a walk and a picnic. Weather was lovely which always helps !! Decided to take in the Narnia trail which my neice loved and then enjoy our picnic under a huge oak tree. Had a run about the lovely grass area. Would reccommend... More

Great day out for all the family. Good paths, lots of open space and great mountain bike routes. There is good catering facilities but also lots of opportunities for picnics right on the Mourne Way

Three kids, two adults and one tent... Who knew things would work out so well. The Kilbroney campsite is well equipped and with our electric hook-up to plug our blow heater onto there were no complaints of being cold. Hot water for showers, dishes and clean facilities as well, we were impressed. Plenty to see and do close by with... More

Another great day and weather was fantastic ,a lot of effort must go into running this event and it was cheap to get in. Can't wait to go back

we've just returned from two nights camping in Kilbroney in Rostrevor with 3 children aged 11 to 14 and had the perfect weekend. We selected our camp site for our 6 man tent on the official website and paid £38 for 2 nights with electric hook up. The site operates with a key card for entry and use of toilet... More

I would highly recommend Kilbroney Forest Park in Rostrevor for a family camping holiday. This was our second june bank holiday camping here and the weather definitely did not dampen our enjoyment this year. The park is well spread out and very well maintained. We stayed on an electric tenting pitch with 3 other families and we had loads of... More

I recently pitched a tent at the Kilbroney Park site for three nights and for my purposes it was ideal, as I was using it as a base to hike amongst the Mournes. The site was clean, tidy and well-organised. For folk concerned with security, campers have their own key fob providing only them with access to the facilities, it... More

This is a well-laid out park with a variety of attractions: great walks for serious walkers with beaujtiful views across Carlingford Lough (in fine weather!) as well as beautiful areas for short strolls, facilities for cycling and playground for children, picnic area, as well as facilities for caravans with electricity and water and also an area for pitching tents. This point on the side of the mountain is just lovely to look across Carlingford lough and enjoy all the greenery as far as the eyes see beyond Warrenpoint.
