Had a little walk up the Divis and Black Mountain. A great way to blow away the cobwebs. A lovely track that leads to stunning views over Belfast and beyond. On a good day you can see every county in Norn Iron, Scotland and the Lake District. Only 15 mins from the City centre.

Great signposted walks up the mountain that lead to several stunning views. This is not far from Belfast but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Views on one side to the Mourne Mountains and the surrounding countryside, one view looks up North to the wind turbines and countryside and then on the other side there is... More

Great destination for long/short walks with panoramic views of Belfast City. Can sometimes have mucky path with farm traffic but well worth the visit!

Close to Belfast and yet feels so wild. There's an easy walking trail which takes in a view of Lough Neagh and goes up to the summit. The scenery is open with fantastic views of Belfast. Sheep and horses graze the grass. There's a free car park on the road up or a Nation Trust one off to the right... More

If you are looking for a bit of exercise and want to see belfast from a different perspective Black mountain is a must. Located onthe outskirts of the city you can have a great panoramic view over the North of Ireland. The mountains of Mourne and the Sperrins are but two sights clearly visible from this wonderful vantage point.

Belfast is in a valley. If you truly want to understand Belfast then a vsit to this mountain is a must. You can look over the whole city and Belfast lough and the River Lagan.. It is easy to see why Shipbuilding was such an important factor in the building of Belfast. One of the things I like so much... More

On a clear day, as we had, you can see for miles. This gives you a complete view over Belfast and beyond. Good for pointing out various landmarks.
