Great walk in the sunny weather. Amazing views and good pathways to walk on. We did the Divis Ridge Trail - easy enough walk with only slight incline. Free car park on the road before the entrance.

The city is laid out before you in a panorama when you look down. Looking up from the city it is used for laying out messages, some not complimentary apparently!

Great walk, amazing views. It's very long and very exposed. Whatever the weather, wind, rain or sun, you'll get the brunt of it. The younger kids struggled with the distance. I intend to go back without them!

No trip to Belfast is complete without a hike to the top of the Black Mountain and Napoleon's Nose. It provides great views of the city and excellent exercise to work off all the calories you are consuming on vacation!

I took the Translink bus 10 from the city up to Hannahstown via the Falls Road. It's a long climb from there up Hannahstown Hill and then climbing further to traverse across to the Black Mountain park. Ulster Bus 82 takes you closer but is...More
