I love being among the trees on this walk, although unfortunately it is very different from years ago when there were a lot more and before they had to cut so many diseased trees down. The kids love running through the trees and it is great that it links in with Shaws Bridge for an even longer walk.

This is very close to the heart of Belfast. The paths meander from the riverside right into forest. At one point there is a great glimpse of the Belvoir Golf Club. Great for a dry day but I am sure others wouldn't mind it in the wet.

This park is on the wilder side with a network of paths in a great woodland area, with fields and a river making it an excellent walk for the dogs. Every visit is exciting as we take different loops through the woodland, up river, down river or having fun in the trees. The Park has hidden gems such as an... More

This is a great place to walk and get away from it all. Much of the park runs alongside the River Lagan where I have seen otters on 3 occasions. Some of the walks take you through trees and beautiful landscapes.

Belvoir Forest Park has a number of walks which are great to do with friends and family! The walks are reasonably challenging with some decent uphill sections! The forest itself is lovely and a great area of nature in the middle of the big city!

On arrival discovered a fallen tree covering the disabled spaces so couldn't park there. Looked at the sign and decided to go on the blue route as was the easy one with plenty of seats along the way. The route was so badly marked we got lost and ended up walking up a steep path to get back to the... More

Quite difficult to locate as its in the middle of Belvoir Park Housing Estate, although you would never guess it once you are walking down the driveway. Endless walks, great scenery over River Kagan, trickling streams - this place has it all. If its nature, peace and tranquillity that you are looking for, then this is the place to go.... More

Having lived right on the doorstep of this beautiful and extensive forest for a nu mber of years, especially during childhood when it became our playground and any and all sort of adventures we had in it. A huge variety of flowers, trees and fauna and some of the oldest and largest Redwood Trees that you may see in the... More
