Just arrived at Cairnryan to board the 07.30am ferry for Belfast only to discover that I had made an error with the booking. I had booked the ferry times in reverse! Shocked to learn Stena charge £50 for this error as the ticket was, wait...More

Have used the return service twice now and was surprised how easy and efficient the service is. The organisation for getting on with your car is simple and then on the boat loads to do, food not silly priced, free refills on coffee and the...More

Even though the dock was several miles from the centre of Belfast and other public transport they failed to provide a courtesy bus for foot passengers. I ended up having to walk 2 miles to get a bus, carrying my luggage. And the staff did...More

What can I say... It is a ferry! However, I can say it was very clean, not over crowded, and comfortable.... Streets ahead of the rosslare to fishguard ferry.

I can't fault Stena on service, comfort etc, but on this occasion we were disappointed with the menu in the Plus Lounge - expecting a hearty evening meal, all they had were cafeteria-type snacks which we'd been eating all day. I had a Jack Daniels...More

A great way to travel from Ireland to Scotland. We were walk on guests and enjoyed a very comfortable lounge area on board. The sailing was smooth and on time.

The superfast VII was fantastic. I have mobility problems and their system for disabled people leaves you parked next to the lifts. The interior is bright and comfortable and the food is also very nice. I will travel with stena again and can highly recommend...More

We also went by car but noticed several buses arriving in time for the ferry. Try googling your town to Cairnryan and see what you get. There's also a train station in Stranraer which may also provide a bus to the ferry.
