St Malachy’s is in the centre of Belfast and while a must see for visitors with an interest in historic church buildings nevertheless its internal architecture and layout will be of much wider interest. The church’s interior has been beautifully restored.

I visited this chapel on Friday morning 27 January 2018 to explore this rather unique architectual building. The interior is unique insofar as it is wider than its length. The decor is lovely and you can sit and reflect without interuption.

This is a lovely, peaceful church in the city centre and well worth a visit but what makes it super special is the ceiling......it is just gorgeous!

I visited this church some months ago with my son. It is very beautiful and very different. It appears to be "sideways on" compared to most churches where the chancel and the apse are in line with one another. Well worth a visit

If you like churches this is a well worth visit. I'm not a religious person but always visit churches and cathedrals. Absolutely stunning!

Attended services here on a recent visit to Belfast. Overall, very nice church with beautiful, if somewhat unusual, Victorian Gothic exterior that one does not really associate with churches generally. I learnt as well that this church in the middle of the 19th century was...More
