This is a fantastic tour - full of fantastic art and history. I grew up in the south of Ireland and thought I knew about The Troubles. Robert my taxi driver was a fountain of knowledge and a brilliant guide for this 1.5-hour tour. Absolutely worth the £35 fee. Thank you, Robert!

We got picked up at the airport and started the tour from there , as I had an interest in Van Morrison he included his Home and Cyprus avenue . This is a must do

This tour took about an hour, and we visited the many mural walls painted as a memoriam to either a hero or murderer depending which side of the divide you were at, a memorial garden and the wall dividing the catholic and protestant areas with their security gates that are closed at 7pm and reopened at 7am. The guides knowledge... More

Very knowledgable guide who lived through the Troubles. Shared with me the history and experiences of the area and stayed very neutral. Highly recommend it.

Didn't know about this but from out B and B only £1.50 per person in a shared cab to city. A bargain. From city to suburbs (west and north) the depot is near castle shopping centre near the Ibis City Centre hotel. Friendly staff.

The Black Cab Tour is really a very fascinating trip through the areas of Belfast where "the troubles" occurred. The cabbie provides quite a history of this very violent time in modern history. Most tourists taking this tour can vividly remember reading daily reports of "The Troubles" in the 60's - 80's. This is an incredibly informative tour and stands... More

Our tour guide, Joe, was brilliant - he was so easy to understand and explained the murals from both cultures. Really interesting.

Joel was our guide who clearly had the historocal and current knowledge to take us round the poignant areas in both the catholic and protestant areas and describe vividly how this might have been to live here during the troubles however we will never truly know. Belfast city is a colourful city with characters to match. I would recommend Joel... More

We had heard good things about this tour but we were disappointed as we spent around 85% of it around the Shankhill instead of the 50/50 balance we had expected. It often felt more like a lecture than an interesting insight into life in Belfast during the troubles. I am sure that we were just unfortunate in the driver allocated... More

Our driver had an agenda but made no secret of that. As mainland Brits we have for years been fed with a largely loyalist news agenda and it was good to hear the other side. We were a bit shocked about the still ongoing - though much improved - divided nature of Belfast with the 'Peace Line' and the various... More
