We took an excursion on our cruise with Princess Cruise Lines and visited the Belfast Castle. We had never been to Northern Ireland and we learn so much during this visit. Belfast Castle was absolutely beautiful, well worth the visit.

Always a great part of Belfast to go and see. If you're lucky and it is a clear day, then you can usually see across to mainland UK. It is a lovely day out, and a nice place to go an explore, especially if you...More

The castle grounds themselves are lovely and the surrounding area of the Cavehill is magnificent. However the management of the restaurant and customer services have their work cut out. Very poor service verging on rude, food average at best.

A must on any visit to the city, stunning views over city, back drop to cavehill and the walks up to Napoleon's nose. Easy to get to by public transport (bus)

the castle is not a hotel, they hire it for weddings and various events but not as accommodation. Also it is open to the public and the entry is free. If you are in Belfast it is still worth a visit as it is quite lovely.
