Impressive 19th Century castle within a lovely garden setting. There's plenty of parking even within the castle grounds and as an added bonus it's free to visit and wander around the grounds.

We enjoyed visiting but felt the tour lacked passion and stories along the way. Without that, it felt like a regular museum.

It's worth slotting this onto your 'Belfast To-Do List' as it's free and has some nice views, but there's nothing to do or learn. Nothing special, but makes for nice pictures on a sunny day.

The castle and surrounding grounds are fabulous. It's free to walk around and there is a nice visitors centre and restaurant there. The gardens offer beautiful views of Belfast.

Be prepared to walk up the hill from hell if you do not drive! The castle itself is absolutely stunning, the basement has informative videos and exhibits to demonstrate the history of the castle. So many photo opportunities, and a bit of "cat spotting" in...More

the castle and grounds are free but the castle is limited to bar and restaurant. There is a small shop with unusual gifts. The view from top is amazing
