Spent a wee while walking around and inside city hall. Remarkable stained glass windows and majestic stairway. Free tours and Tree was really festive. Outside the markets were buzzing on a Friday afternoon with young and old milling around. When sunset it was so nice. Atmosphere very merry and bars packed. Food stalls galore. It would be nicer to have more... More

We went up to Belfast to do some shopping on Black Friday. I was raging that i went up as the trip seemed pointless as we didn't buy a thing. That was until we stumbled upon the Christmas markets based in City hall. Well it was just what we needed! The smell of the gorgeous food and the delicious pastries... More

I work city centre and I am so lucky to be a short walk from the city hall to experience the European Market at Christmas. The city hall itself is a beautiful historic building, in the summer it is lovely to eat lunch and people watch

Free tours around a historic building showing the history of Belfast. The tour guide was very informative and funny. The Bobbin Cafe does lovely food and very reasonably priced.

The City Hall is a truly magnificent building both inside and out. It is particularly splendid when illuminated at night and we were very pleased to see the proud declaration, "Merry Christmas Belfast." In front of the City Hall was the Christmas market and the smell from the many food stalls was very tempting. We had a brief look inside... More

Christmas Market in Belfast has been going on for 12 years yet they could've made it better. Not a lot of artisan stores...you cannot even drink mulled wine while walking and look around (not that there are much to look at). The best Christmas market is still Vienna and Bratislava! If you're in Belfast, just go to St George's weekend... More
