    Savage Pints Of Guinness
We stopped here on a trip to Belfast and we loved it. The bar is steeped in history and has managed to maintain it's identity. Nice vibes inside and out of the pub. The pints of Guinness are simply savage, I'd go back to Belfast again just to have a couple of pints of the black stuff in Kelly's, they were like mothers milk. Great pub and worth a vist

Amazing but look out for the odd drunk idiot
As a Belfast native who left in 1997, I was delighted to introduce my son and two friends, one Hungarian and one British Bengali to Kelly's Cellars. It didn't dissappoint. The food was great, the Guinness was outstanding and the staff both behind the bar and on security were amazing and very welcoming. There was just one sour note to the occasion. On the last night, while seated at a table, waiting for food a group of local women started aggressively pushing into our table when there was not really any space. We were told by them that we shouldn't expect to have a table to ousrelves in Kelly's. This was followed by an assertion that as we were tourists we shouldn't be taking up a table as they came there every week and one of their Dad's owned the bar. The latter clearly being a lie. When I pointed out we didn't have much space it seemed to rile them and they became verbally abusive. They began insulting me about my age, then focused on my son telling him that he wasn't Irish. He defended himself saying, I am Irish to which one responded, "You're not Irish, you're English, shut up, you have no opinion here". The insults went up a notch when they turned on my Bengali friend asking him pointedly "where are you from anyway" and then telling him that "you have no right to be here. This is our bar. This is West Belfast". The next move was for one of the women to go to the doorman and ask for us to be thrown out. The doorman made the right call and was very supportive of us. However in the end the aggressive tactics of these women was successful and we left the bar giving them the table as the whole situation was very tense and unpleasant.

    A must go to bar
This is a must go to bar...what a place, great mix of people of all age ranges went on the Saturday night and never left the place until late great guitarist playing a range of music from Oasis to Fleetwood Mac, Springsteen to Sam Fender buzzing atmosphere lasses up dancing to the guitarist the lot...Great bar staff and reasonable prices for a city centre. This is a great bar for couples, groups of friends and families (over 18's). Seated and standing Space available outside to enjoy a drink.

Go here for a real Irish experience!
We were recommended to go here by more than one local. We were told this place has the BEST Guinness in the city with the warmest welcome. They were right! It felt like a real, traditional Irish experience. The building and art work is unbelievable.

Stopped in for a pint of Guinness (as you do when visiting Ireland) and was blown away by the atmosphere.

We sat outside and there was a lovely folk band playing traditional Irish music on a violin & support band.

Very busy but you didn’t have to wait long to be served and the door man was super nice and really did keep things moving in door ways & letting those with drinks back through the crowd.

Toilets were a little messy and old fashioned but that’s to be expected from an old pub like this, if you are around I would definitely recommend stopping in for an authentic experience.

The toilet facilities in this establishment are poor. There is little put in place for those with a disability of any kind. One toilet out of order so everyone uses the disabled toilet, Which isn't an actual disabled toilet as access is so narrow. I asked to use their other toilets upstairs and was declined. I explained my disability but was basically told to go away I am busy. Staff attitude to disability was horrendous.

Called in on Sunday after the St Patrick’s day parade ☘️, think half of Belfast had the same idea, it was so so busy, couple of additional portaloo toilets outside which had an incredibly long queue, the atmosphere was electrifying & despite the volume of people, no kick off, so very pleasant visit!

Very nice experience having Irish Guinness beer with traditional bar at night in the middle of Irish people the weekend is full of people dining in and out it was a good vibe. You have to be careful with drunk people anyway.

Nice pub in not such a nice location just off the Main Street. Staff nice and friendly behind the bar. Sat outside in a tent. As it was the run up to Christmas they had a bloke dressed as the grinch supposedly entertaining. He was half American, loud and annoying plus made it clear at the top of the voice that he hated the f*ing English…we 5 are all English so didn’t bode well. Also another guy sat there spent the whole time staring at me. I guess also because I’m English.
Was a shame really because it could have been lovely and traditional but we ended up leaving before it kicked off.

One of Belfast’s oldest pubs (+300 years), the craft ales are excellent, the Guinness is sublime, and the Irish stew is rich and savoury. Live music and lots of convivial conversation and laughter.
