What a great theatre to see a performance in. Seating, ambiance and sound are brilliant. Helpful staff and nice bar area make for a nice venue for a night out.

What a beautiful theatre....it is over thirty years since I last visited. The theatre itself is beautifully designed and so accessible to all. The show was fantastic hope they bring it back next year. Looking forward to returning soon!

I often feel the Lyric Theatre isn't given enough praise. It's a beautiful building, interesting art work and pictures around hung around it, the architecture itself is enjoyable and there are always a wide variety of shows and plays available. I really enjoy the exposure of local talent. I have never been disappointed with an event I have attended -... More

Thanks for taking time to leave a review. As you rightly point out, the Lyric is more than a theatre and it is our hope that people will visit us and experience everything we have to offer, whether it's for a show, lunch, to participate in one of our workshops or simple to enjoy the ambience of the building itself.... Had 44 people at the Lyric last night, to see The Nativity "What the Donkey Saw" Amazing production so funny and great Northern Ireland Humor. Very tastefully done not to offend anyone. Cast were amazing playing all parts and the singing in the production was fabulous. My group Ballysillan Community Forum History programme had a great night out approaching Christmas.... More

Most people go here to see a show - and so have we on a few occasions. However, the restaurant is open during the day for coffee and meals. We went on a bright, sunny and frosty day for lunch. The place was fairly quiet but very pleasant. My wife had the tomato and lentil soup and I had the... More

Delighted to get tickets to Murder on the Dance Floor. We missed out on the planned shows which all sold out, but the theatre let us know there was another show added for Saturday afternoon and we snapped them up, good job as it was also sold out. The show was brilliant, possibly the best I've seen in recent months.... More

I must say I really enjoyed this play in the Lyric theatre. Let's be honest it was a tad on the sad side and I thought the ending could have been better but it was a very good show with some great performances. You can also get some snacks and drinks during the interval but the queues were terrible so... More

The Lyric is a fabulous theatre. Northern Ireland is very lucky to have the Lyric, the Mac and the Grand Opera House. We've been to several plays at the Lyric - they've all been of a very high standard. Some of them have not been predictable but all have had exceptional production values. The Lyric is also very good at... More
