A wonderful place to walk, swim, golf and eat!

The first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the UK, it lives up to its name. Wonderful beaches, good parking and masses of walks

Having recently retired and moved to rural South Wales, the Gower Peninsula is just a 45 minute drive away. Suddenly our grown-up children and several grand children, ranging from new born to teenager want to come and visit for short holidays. We usually start the day with a trip to Mumbles pier and a a visit to the lifeboat station.... More

Having lived near The Gower all my life, I can only say good things about it. Beautiful, breathtaking scenery and family friendly beaches. There is a reason Rhossili is consistently in the top beaches of the world. Visit. You won't be disappointed. Go to Joe's for ice cream in The Mumbles.

This is a must if visiting The gower about 12 miles from Swansea. This is the most energetic place ever, with outstanding views and the most peaceful feeling. This place is out of this world, what a gem, it is untouched by man (well at least now) please visit as if you miss this you are missing the real Wales.

This is a magical place to visit. The South coast of Gower has the best baus. Go to Rhosilly, Oxwich, Caswell, Langkand and the wonderful Mumbles. The children will love this place. Plenty of Onns and Pubs. Stay at Oxwich Bay Hotel Good also for camping and caravanning. One of the best places for a family holiday.
