The powers that be have now closed this office. |Rang today to be told by recorded message that the office is closed. Rang Cardiff they say many offices recently closed in S Wales. We are going to Porthcawl in two weeks. Office closed. How can they expect tourists to go to S Wales if they close most of the tourist... More

Surely a TIO should be in the centre of a city - not stuck out of the way and difficult to find? It is also not well stocked with brochures from the areas surrounding Swansea. It also needs to cover areas such as Bath/Bristol that are within a day's drive of Swansea.

Nice friendly staff. We were looking for information on bus routes and schedules to local towns. The computer would only show times to and from Swansea if you select a particular town. There was no way to compare routes between towns. Not the staffs fault. They did provide me with a web site for the bus schedules.

Puddled around Swansea for a while and found the best place to get advice and information for the whole of the South Wales region was right there with a great lady called Claire. So very helpful and only to happy to answer questions. They also have a stock of souvenirs for those who need the odd bits to take away.... More

I visited briefly to pick up a few leaflets on my way to Swansea Market. While there a couple who were probably visitors asked for a map of Rossili. I assume the OS map they actually wanted was not in stock at the time, but there were certainly others there which they could have been offered but they received a... More

Pleasant TIC in the city centre. Knowledgable and friendly staff who offered excellent advice on things to do in Swansea. Some great gift options too!

we were given a map to help us find our way around, I'm good with maps but from a pedestrian point of view it was hopeless. The footbridge from the city centre to the marina is marked but not in a way that gives you confidence its the route to use. The fantastic Meridian Tower isn't even on the map... More
