Was surprised that I had to pay to enter this place (£4), as this sort of thing is usually free. It’s basically an old ruin with a couple of signs to read. There are much better castles in South Wales.

Oxwich castle is slightly more recent than the medieval and Norman sites I normally go to, but it's a wonderful place with lots of character. It's not a huge place but I found the history interesting and the illustration panels brought the place to life....More

Not a lot here but you can walk to it from Oxwich bay which is probably a better plan than driving to it. Lots of activities for kids.
